If you have lots of similar keys and you always seem to be searching for the key you need, here is a potentially great solution for you. Rather than buying those bulky plastic key covers that break, get dirty once they are used for a while, and clunk up your key chain, spend NO money and use something you probably already have in your house - nail polish! You could also use regular paint as well (although it might not adhere as well and chip/peel off faster). What I love most about this is you can colour code your keys. Front door red - use red paint! Shed brown - use brown paint! Handy Tip: Make sure you let each coat (if you do more than one) dry fully before recoating/turning over. Also, make sure the surface you're using to paint on is clean and dust-free or else you'll have dust chunks stuck into your finished key colouring. I MAY not have let each coat dry completely and put the keys back on my key chain before they were fully dry (hence the slight indents/smudges you see in the picture to the right) - oops. You could even get fancy and use sparkly nail polish, or paint swirls, faces, designs onto the keys. There are so many possibilities, the sky is the limit! |

Obviously what works for our household isn't necessarily going to work for yours. You may need two shelves for condiments for example, only one for fruits and vegetables or whatever! You may find cleaning out the fridge before you go shopping or on another day entirely works better for you. The key to having an organized fridge is simply just having a "home" for everything in your fridge and making it easy for yourself to maintain it. I guarantee it will reduce your food waste!
