Chakey’s Earth 100% Wool Dryer Balls will reduce your drying time anywhere from 25-50% depending on the model and age of your dryer. No need to use expensive dryer sheets for every load containing harsh synthetic and flammable ingredients and fragrances. One set of dryer balls will last YEARS and help eliminate static cling naturally!
To use the dryer balls, simply place them in the dryer with your load. They will help lift and separate your laundry, enabling it to dry faster and softening the fabrics naturally. The dryer balls are safe to use on any heat setting however, I suggest never using high heat in the dryer as it is very damaging to fabrics and reduces the lifespan of your clothes.
Note: The dryer balls may be loud in your dryer (as they bang lightly against the drum) when being used in smaller loads.
I can also add natural scent to the dryer balls at no additional cost. I find however, that the heat from the dryer generally breaks up the oils and takes away any scent they may impart. If you want your laundry to have a light scent when coming out of the dryer, I suggest adding a few drops of essential oils (only a few drops are needed) on the dryer balls or a separate cloth, then run the dry laundry (with the newly scented dryer balls or cloth) in the dryer on AIR or COLD (don’t use ANY heat) for a few minutes. Your clothes will come out freshly scented.
