Hi all,
It's been busy around here! We went camping this past weekend which was really fun (except for the evil bugs and gross spiders!). We went on a super long kayaking excursion with a short hike and swim and I also went tubing (that's tube-ing, not tub-ing)! Of course I also went on many other swims and did lots of walking, but that's to be expected when camping!
In spite of all this exercise, my weight has remained pretty much the same this week.
I have noticed lately that my feet and other extremities have been swelling daily, so I've been really concentrating on my water intake. At one time, I used to drink little to NO water at all during the day (or any other beverage), so I really have to make a conscious effort to drink more! For sake of simplicity and encouragement/structure, I've devised the following:
I have to drink:
I started with a small glass size and have graduated to a larger glass size. I'm hoping one day I'll be able to just drink water throughout the day without thinking about it.
I figure that by concentrating on my water intake, I'll naturally lose some weight (water weight mainly - water that my body keeps stored because I never drink enough!). The water will also keep me feeling full and not reaching for snacks before I'm truly hungry.
That's about it from me this week. Here is a reminder of my progress so far as well as how much more (approximately) I have to lose weight wise).

- 1 glass of water by 10:00 a.m.
- 2 glasses of water by 12:00 p.m.
- 3 glasses of water by 3:00 p.m.
- 4 glasses of water by 5:00 p.m.
