My weekly weight loss/health update this week is a bit random, so please bear with me!
I've not really lost any significant weight (I'm almost identical to the weight I was last week). I've been focusing on moving more and working more physical activity into my days, which has been good so far. I haven't always felt like moving more this week (I've been in a bit of a funk), but the more I force myself to, the more I want to!
On a possibly unrelated, yet I think suspiciously aligned note, my nails have grown! I have been, ALL my life forever and ever as long as I can remember, a chronic nail biter. Like really forever. They would never grow more than like a millimeter long and I'd bite them. I can count on one hand (four) how many times I was able to grow my nails for longer than a week. Once was for my wedding and it was REALLY hard to stop.
However, somehow (some type of strange magic really), I've stopped. Like for a couple months now stopped, without a struggle. I've stopped without even TRYING to, THINKING about or WANTING to stop biting them! I've even had two incidents where I sliced off a big chunk of one of my nails. Usually, because they were sliced off (and hugely uneven, and sharp), I'd start biting them again to "fix" them, but I didn't. I used the nail clippers to clip off the rest of the nail so it was sort of even (it was a big chunk off one side of the nail) and that was it!
They are also STRONGER and aren't flimsy or flaky. I'd often have individual nail layers peeling when I was trying to grow them in the past and they'd be so delicate, they'd break just thinking about it. But now they are strong and haven't flaked once. I am guessing it must be all the greens and vegetables I'm consistently eating and the lack of sugar and wheat!
So, to any nail biters out there: eat your greens (and avoid sugar and wheat) cause apparently it makes your nails awesome, like mine!:

Ok, well maybe the nail polish is a bit chipped, but the nails are awesome! And for some reason, I'm reminded of this song:
Enjoy!
