Unfortunately there's not much to report this week! There's not a whole lot I'm planning on buying... The flyers were pretty disappointing (at least for what I buy!).
Blackberries are at our "buy multiples" buying price (the price I am willing to spend on them at a grocery store and buy more than just one). They are $0.99/170g - standard blackberry container size. I'll also be buying mushrooms ($0.97/227g), two cucumbers ($0.99 each), and celery ($0.97 each) for the Healthy Snack Fund.
I've included a picture of my grocery "list" this week. This is how I prepare my grocery list. I go through the flyers (including other stores that sell groceries (Target, Walmart, Giant Tiger, etc.) then I write out the item, attributes (size/brand, etc.). I don't bother writing the size or brand for most produce unless it's an item I don't buy frequently or a non- "standard" size (e.g. strawberries almost always come in a standard 454g/1 lb. container). I also write the price and initials for which store the sale is at. I'll include a post in the future about what my typical grocery outing is like!
Update: Find out what I actually bought!
