Not too much this week, but a few great sales! Both cucumbers (each) and tomatoes (hot house, per pound) are $0.67 this week, which is really good! Also, if you buy crackers (I buy lots because of the Healthy Snack Fund) they are $1.49 at Shoppers Drug Mart on Saturday only. We usually only buy crackers if they are less than $1.80/box, but they go on sale fairly often for $2.00 or less.
Items that are frequently on sale are celery, mushrooms, grape tomatoes, bananas, cheese and pears.
There is also a good sale on Harvest Crunch (it's a cereal but I use it as a granola) for $1.99 per box, but the sale is only available at Food Basics and according to the flyer you have to have the "coupon" that is in the flyer.
A really great deal this week is Sunlight laundry detergent. I usually don't buy laundry detergent because I make my own (Chakey's Earth laundry detergent), but sometimes I will buy some when I can get it for less than $1.00 per box because we're in super saving money mode right now. When my lovely student loan is paid off then I'll only use my own detergent because its not filled with harsh chemicals and works better to boot! To get the Sunlight detergent for $0.88 this week, you'll need a Sunlight $2.00 off coupon. I have two $2.00 coupons that I got from a dishsoap bottle and a sample pack. Food Basics has the detergent on sale for $2.88 this week, so $2.88 - $2.00 coupon = $0.88 per box. I will be price matching the detergent and using the coupons at FreshCo.
