Overall, this weeks sales are GREAT!
Produce with good prices this week include: bananas, cucumbers (great price), tomatoes (great price), cantaloupe, strawberries, and pineapple.
Frozen fruit is at our "buy lots" price ($2.99). Cheese is on a decent sale as well for $4.47 for 500g bar.
There are a couple great sales this week:
There is one amazing "mega super not likely to be beat anytime soon" sale this week on APPLES. At Food Basics you can get a 3lb bag of apples for $1.88 PLUS on Checkout51 (more information below) there is $0.50 off any apple purchase, making the apples $1.38 for 3 pounds!
If you haven't heard of Checkout51 yet, you should REALLY look into it. Checkout51 is an app for your phone (possibly other platforms as well). Each week there are deals when you purchase a specific item or set of items and you get money back (like electronic coupons except you need to redeem at least $20.00 worth of deals before you can get a cheque mailed to you). Most of the products on the app aren't items I usually buy, but for most people I bet there are lots of great deals out there to be had. This is the first time I've seen a coupon for produce and you can bet I'll be using it! On Checkout51 they post all sorts of discounts on all kinds of items including cleaning products, personal care, health care, groceries, toys, etc. And to get your cheque, $20 adds up surprisingly fast!
