Peel (if you want), chop into bite size chunks and set aside:
- 1 large onion
- 3 or 4 carrots
- 1 or 2 celery ribs
- 2 or 3 large potatoes
Note: You can add or substitute any other vegetables (or even a different kind of meat) you happen to have. The nice thing about stews is they are really flexible and can be made so many different ways just depending on the ingredients you happen to have around!
